When is it time to vote?

I came up here from New Orleans and now I see all these signs about vote for me. Where do I go and when? Back home I guess about this time we'd all be outside passin the time and a van or something would come by and say "ya'll come on it's time to vote". Do they do that here? Nobodys told me nothin. Sometimes I remember a pretty white lady would be there handin folks some food or couple dollars when we got in the van and theyd take us out and bring us back. That was a nice time. Sometimes Miss Schwegman would meet us at one of her stores and we could go in and get something and shed just remind us to vote and we be off. Up here its just signs. How do I know what to do?
