Vladimir Putin: Time's Person of the Year
Time Magazine's Person of the Year is Russian President Vladimir Putin. The runner up is Al Gore.

That makes sense. It is stories like this that kind of make me happy that Time/Warner sold out to Comcast here in Shreveport. Not that I use either one...

This just goes to show what a manifesto that "Time" magazine really is.
Vlad is one evil KGB bastard and our press thinks he is the sheet! Vlad baby has a agenda and it is hostile to the USA !

1. Manifesto? I think you meant to use a different word, I just can't figure out which one.
2. Man of the Year doesn't mean they like him (Hitler was "Man of the Year," too) it just means they think he was important/influential. That said, I don't see how Putin beat out Ahmadinejad (or Al Gore for that matter). Putin deserves to be in the top 10, but not #1. |

Putin is one of those Russian Leader no-brainer choices. Getting the general Russian population to love and idolize him would be as natural a task as getting South Louisiana to vote for Edwards again.
