Buy the General Lee!!!

Check this out! They're selling the General Lee on eBay! This auction is knocking on 2.5 million dollars and has 2 days remaining. They said this car was the actual car that appeared in the Dukes of Hazard movie. All original, living cast members autographed it under the hood.

Who would pay $2M for a car that wasn't even on the TV show?

The original Lee is quite possibly in the Smithsonian by now. This one was in the movie though and autographed by the original cast that is still alive. It would be valuable, nonetheless.

It says this one was in the TV movie "The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood," not the one with Jessica Simpson.
I doubt any of the six people that saw that movie can afford $2M. |

I might buy it if I had enough money...but I'd paint it either flat black or metallic blue or green, and stick a blower on that hemi!

But that would ruin its collector's value.

I doubt it has any collector's value. It's full of non-original parts and it wasn't used for anything famous.

WOW!!! The General Lee sold for a whopping $9,900,500.00! I hope that buyer is a seriously rich Dukes fan.

That's not so bad. A few years ago, some rich militaria collector actually sold a functional, but demilitarized, F-16 fighter jet on eBay. I can't remember how much it went for, but it each plane is worth roughly $30M.
